Prophet’s Laurel is one of the requirements for upgrading health potions. It can be found on the Storm Coast and Emerald Graves.
Now if you want to get Prophet’s Laurel early on to upgrade your potions without fighting high level enemies, the best spot would be farming the 2 herbs of Prophet’s Laurel around the starting camp on Emerald Graves as shown below.
Prohpet’s Laurel near starting camp on Emerald Graves
1 – The first herb can be found on the Rock ledge as shown in the pic below:
2 – The second one is just as shown in the map.
3 – The third prophets Laurel as I have found, could spawn or not spawn on indicated spot.
It’s only 2-3 herbs, but you want something that’s near the base camp since you would be low level and you won’t have to explore and fight higher level enemies on the map. There might be an occasional mob group on spot number 1, but they can be easily avoided.
Also, you would only need a total of 11 Prophet’s Laurel for potion upgrades as can be seen here (type prophet’s laurel on the search box on the second table).
Now once you have harvested the herbs, zone out Emerald Graves, load another map, and zone back in Emerald Graves to refresh the herbs.
Prophet’s Laurel On The Storm Coast
The other locations of Prophet’s Laurel would require you to travel to a longer distance. For example on The Storm Coast:
The first one would be on top of the mountain you need to climb. And the second one is right at bottom of the map. A couple of Prophet’s Laurel is also located on the dragon area on the map, but you need to do some quest to reach that area.
As mentioned, there’s a long distance to travel on the Storm Coast to get Prophet’s Laurel and its best to just pick those at Emerald Graves (there’s a bunch of prophet’s laurel way north of the map on Emerald Graves, but that would require you to kill enemies along the way).
Note that Emerald Graves map requires around 8 power to unlock, but don’t let that be an issue if you are concerned of spending too much power early on. You’ll notice that you’ll accumulate lots of power once you complete side quests, missions and closing fade rifts. Also power becomes useless after unlocking all maps (and you still get them from completing things).
